Native Plant Seeds:
All of the seeds in our packets were collected in Massachusetts. Native plants are beautiful and fascinating, and vital to our ecosystem. Unlike many non-native garden plants and the invasive plants taking over our forests, native plants are the base of the natural food web. These plants attract and feed countless insects, which in turn feed birds and other wildlife. Native flowers also provide nectar and pollen to pollinators. In recent decades scientists have documented enormous declines in bird and insect populations. Adding a diverse community of native plants to your yard will help sustain the food web.
